As a self-taught web developer, I've learned a bunch of cool skills to make websites look good and work smoothly. I started with HTML and CSS for the basics, then added Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS to make things stylish. I got into React to create interactive parts of websites. On the behind-the-scenes part, I learned Express.js, PHP, and Node.js to handle the server stuff. I also dealt with databases using MySQL and MongoDB. For live chatting and updates on websites, I picked up Socket.IO. Right now, I'm learning Next.js to make things even better. This journey shows I'm committed to learning and keeping up with what's new in web development. While learning, whatever I learned, implemented that in real-time and showcased in my Github Repos. I furthermore, created projects where I had to demonstrate and use relevant skills, for example, CRUD, Login with JWT token, Database operations etc.
I joined UPWORK in search of testing my skills and also as my side-hustle. I started working as a translator (Bengali to English and vice versa) and also as a transcriptionist. As my reading, writing and listening skills are good enough, I chose these two as my head start job. Even though, it’s been a year only, I am sure of my skills and I’ll make sure my client realized and realizes the same.
